We seek an experienced, self-starting Systems Administrator to serve as a part of the Company’s team that supports our government customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and support the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems across multiple domains.
  • Administer, install, and troubleshoot a variety of operating systems.
  • Perform systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance on both Windows and Linux systems. 
  • Schedule, install, and test system software upgrades.
  • Configure software and resolve technical problems.
  • Primary administrator for Azure cloud environment in a Microsoft Government tenant and a full E3/E5 GCC High Microsoft 365 product suite.
  • Manage and secure Power BI data analytics.
  • Manage the interfaces (APIs) between corporate systems and data visualizations.
  • End user support for onsite and remote employees.
  • Monitor and maintain software licensing and maintenance agreements.
  • Contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project.
  • Work with the Software Engineers to ensure that the architecture will meet requirements of the proposed applications.
  • Support and advise customer on initiatives including assessment, migration, and modernization.
  • Write and edit scripts to increase system efficiency using PowerShell or other scripting language.
  • Ability to work within a collaborative, geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed, a candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • High School diploma with 14 years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 12 years of relevant experience or, Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth Oracle stack experience.
  • Experience in virtualization and containerization (VMware)
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
  • Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI Network layers)
  • Working experience in installing and configuring Unix/Linux based environments.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing to convey IT technologies.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira).

Pay Band Information:

$76,000 - $110,000

The ACI pay band for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of a specific compensation.
