Systems Administrator

Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, United States | Full-time | Fully remote

Augustine Consulting, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced, self-starting Systems Administrator to serve as a part of the Company’s team that supports our government customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and support the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems across multiple domains.
Administer, install, and troubleshoot a variety of operating systems.
Perform systems maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance on both Windows and Linux systems.
Schedule, install, and test system software upgrades.
Configure software and resolve technical problems.
Primary administrator for Azure cloud environment in a Microsoft Government tenant and a full E3/E5 GCC High Microsoft 365 product suite.
Manage and secure Power BI data analytics.
Manage the interfaces (APIs) between corporate systems and data visualizations.
End user support for onsite and remote employees.
Monitor and maintain software licensing and maintenance agreements.
Contribute to moderately complex aspects of a project.
Work with the Software Engineers to ensure that the architecture will meet requirements of the proposed applications.
Support and advise customer on initiatives including assessment, migration, and modernization.
Write and edit scripts to increase system efficiency using PowerShell or other scripting language.
Ability to work within a collaborative, geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work being performed, a candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
High School diploma with 14 years of relevant experience, Associates degree with 12 years of relevant experience or, Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
In-depth Oracle stack experience.
Experience in virtualization and containerization (VMware)
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI Network layers)
Working experience in installing and configuring Unix/Linux based environments.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams.
Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing to convey IT technologies.
Experience developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Atlassian products (Confluence, Jira).

Pay Band Information:

$76,000 - $110,000

The ACI pay band for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of a specific compensation.
